Join us starting this July 3rd until August 25th for four super fun sessions at our beautiful Stanley Campus! IMS holds an annual Summer Programme that is open to all children in Hong Kong. The programme is divided into four, 2-week sessions, each with their own thematic curriculum. Children can choose from English Immersion, Mandarin Immersion, Read & Write, Mathematics Made EASY, and IMS Sports Camp.
Thursday, June 15th 2017 Thank you very much for your interest in our school. We would like to invite you to join an Information Session to learn more about IMS, the Montessori method and philosophy, and our dual-language curriculum. This information session is applicable to any parents interested in applying for our Foundation groups (ages 2 to 3) or Casa dei Bambini classes (ages 3 to 6) at any one of our four campuses.
Since 2002, IMS has pioneered Montessori Chinese – English dual language education in Asia, and is now one of the largest Montessori programmes of its kind in the world. At IMS, we recognize and respect the individuality of every child and aim to nurture their innate curiosity, compassion, and thirst for learning.
We are delighted to announce that after a long and extensive search spanning the Northern side of Hong Kong island, we have secured a new site for our Community! The IMS Aldrich Campus will be in Sai Wan Ho, which is in between Quarry Bay and Shau Kei Wan. Design plans are underway for the construction of 3 very bright Casa classrooms. It will incorporate a large indoor play area, pantry, reading corner, etc
The Junior CAS (Creativity-Action-Service) is a project management programme that showcases our students’ initiative, collaboration, communication, negotiation, problem-solving skills, and community commitment. Our Upper Primary created a gigantic elephant to be seen from the sky to raise awareness of the ivory trade in Hong Kong.
Life at IMS happens both in and out of the classroom environment. Our school’s monthly online publication, Montessori Moments, features the joyful learning that happens beyond the core curriculum for both child, faculty, and parents. Many of these experiences help to unite our community, across multiple campuses, as one school. As readers discover more about what is happening around our school, we hope that they will also find inspiration and support to nurture the Montessori child.
