• • • Elementary Classes: See the classes in action, and experience how the 2 classroom teachers support each child’s natural development with individual and small-group lessons in both English and Chinese, surrounding the child with opportunities to explore all disciplines in both languages naturally throughout each day. 
    • Student Garden: farm to table to composter to garden is experiential learning!

• Montessori Music, Makerspace, Design Lab & Art Room: students explore their creativity and ideas for design both artistic and mechanical, investigate burning scientific questions in more depth, and get expert advice on their projects! Don’t miss the IMS Creativity, Action & Service work that makes up a large part of Upper Elementary life, including the student composting projects or the paper recycling business!

  • Dual-Language IMS Library: fosters the children’s interests and is a great place for parents to volunteer.
  • Chinese Language Lesson Rooms: Understand how IMS achieves its amazing Chinese results, naturally, by differentiating  45-minute daily small-group Chinese Language lessons designed for each child’s reading and writing level. Don’t miss student’s work outside the 2/F Chinese lesson rooms.
