The IMS Speakeasy

(Date TBA)

Our annual fundraiser event enables families and friends of the Hong Kong International Montessori School (IMS) to  gather,  have fun and raise funds for the school. Proceeds are invested in making IMS an even better school for our children. Each year, parents and staff gather for a fabulous evening of great food and drinks, mingling and fun. With your support and generosity, we were able to raise HK$1.47 million in net proceeds, this year we hope we will be able to raise even more!

This year's Speakeasy will include:

  • A trip down time with our 1920's themed party
  • A fantastic cocktail in one of Hong Kong’s most historical places
  • Delicious cocktails and canapés
  • Great music to dance the night away!

History

The Party!

The IMS Speakeasy is more than simply a fundraising event for IMS. It is a unique opportunity for the IMS community – parents, faculty, and friends of the school – to come together to celebrate. The event itself is a source of huge enjoyment for many parents, as it gives them the opportunity to meet parents from different campuses, chat with faculty and staff in an informal setting, and reconnect with old friends.

Wishing Well

Tuition covers most of the basic needs of any school, but there are always many things in the Wishing Well. The Wishing well supplements academic and co-curricular programme development, and school infrastructure and supplies. These items help make the enrichment programmes, student materials, science & sport equipment, and technology possible for our children. The items are determined through collaborative brainstorming amongst our curriculum leaders, principal and School Founders. Parents will also have a chance to purchase specific items from our “Wishing Well” that the School or Teachers wish to have.

Sponsors

We’d like to extend a special thanks to our generous sponsors and volunteers who year after year support us and have made this event possible. Their contributions – in goods, services, and time – enable us to apply the maximum possible amount of money towards our programming. We deeply appreciate their support and thank them on behalf of the entire IMS community.
