IMS Contribution Plan
Each of the Personal Nomination Right, Annual Capital Levy, Capital Note and (collectively, Contribution Options) is granted or charged by the International Montessori Education Foundation Limited (IMEF) from time to time to ensure sufficient funds are available for, among other things, capital improvements such as new premises, buildings and equipment, as well as enhancements to the learning environment and resources across all programmes of The International Montessori School – an IMEF School (IMS or the School).
Limited Priority Capital Notes, Premium Priority Debentures and Priority Personal Nomination Rights (collectively, Priority Contribution Options) which offer priority of assessment and place are available upon request.
IMEF and IMS are charitable institutions listed in section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap.112). Proceeds of the Contribution Options and Priority Contribution Options will be applied towards the objectives of IMEF.
All students accepted for an IMS place offer to the Casa dei Bambini, Elementary, or Middle School Programme must be covered by either one of the Contribution Options or Priority Contribution Options.
After interview and acceptance, the Personal Nomination Right entitles the student to attend both the Casa dei Bambini and Elementary Programmes at IMS, while the Capital Note entitles the student to attend the Casa dei Bambini Programme only at IMS, with the requirement to make an additional contribution for enrollment in the Elementary Programme at that time. The Annual Capital Levy entitles the student to attend one academic year in the IMS Casa dei Bambini, Elementary or Middle School Programme.

The grant of each of the Contribution Options, and each Contribution Option, remain subject to the relevant terms and conditions (and not this document). The terms and conditions of each Contribution Option (each a T&C) are available upon request, and the relevant T&C (and not this document) is the exhaustive statement of the terms governing each Contribution Option.
A person entitled to the benefits of a Personal Nomination Right or a Capital Note pursuant to the relevant T&C is the “Beneficiary” of that Personal Nomination Right or Capital Note.

Annual Capital Levy
The Annual Capital Levy can be used to secure a place in the Casa dei Bambini, Elementary and Middle School Programmes at the School, after interview and acceptance. The Annual Capital Levy is a non-redeemable, non-interest bearing, non-transferable and non-refundable fee for service.
The Annual Capital Levy is charged by IMEF and does not relate to any debt owed by IMEF to any person. The Annual Capital Levy does not confer any other additional rights upon any person, and it is subject to annual adjustment at the discretion of IMEF and subject to the approval of the Education Bureau of Hong Kong. The Annual Capital Levy charge is currently HK$35,000 per year per student.

Bus, Uniforms and Other Costs
IMS contracts a bus company to provide a network of bus services that covers the vast majority of Hong Kong island. Bus fees are charged directly by the provider in half-year segments.
All students in our Casa de Bambini and Elementary programmes wear school uniforms, which can be purchased online or at school at the beginning of the year.
Other fees cover the costs of field trips, Camp and other outdoor education opportunities, and are charged directly by the school annually.
