A Close-Knit Community

The vibrancy and warmth our families share is a fundamental aspect of the nurturing, child-centered environment that IMS provides for every student. There is no limit to what we can accomplish for our children when our community of teachers, leaders, alumni, parents and students come together.

Parents

The IMS Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) was established in 2002 to provide a platform for our parents to meet each other and engage in the life of the school. It is led by the PTA Committee - a group of enthusiastic parent volunteers who are devoted to organising activities for our families, recruiting volunteers for the school, and fostering our community spirit. All IMS parents and teachers are members of the IMS PTA.

The IMS Team

The IMS team is thoughtfully assembled to support every student in developing to their full potential by providing personalised attention, fostering a nurturing environment, and offering a diverse array of educational experiences. Our dedicated staff of over 150 professionals, in both educational and operational roles, bring a diverse range of expertise, languages, and cultural backgrounds from around the world, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded and inclusive education tailored to their unique needs.

IMS Students

IMS’ population has grown to a community of almost 900 children from all over the world. Going to school with such a multicultural and multilingual community gives each child a broad perspective of others, laying the foundation for empathy and strong, positive relationships.

i

Alumni

IMS graduates are well-rounded, articulate and thoughtful leaders of tomorrow committed to positive impact. Many of our alumni credit their hands-on, individualised and relevant Montessori education for their ease of adjustment, creativity and flexible thinking at both secondary school and university.
